Physical Planning

Breadcrumb

Physical Planning is responsible for the stewardship of the campus’ unique physical setting. It leads and/or participates in planning, land use, and facility siting studies, and provides decision support on campus development priorities, identity, and aesthetics. Furthermore, Physical Planning establishes the criteria for campus leadership, and project stakeholders to assess the appropriateness of planning and design efforts.

Physical Planning develops and maintains consistency with the campus’ Long Range Development Plan, the Physical Design Framework, and provides input towards maintaining the Campus Design & Construction Standards current.

Physical Planning works cooperatively with campus affinity units to support best practices in campus planning and design, stormwater management, transportation, landscape design and more; and serves as a liaison with the City, County, local and regional agencies on planning and development priorities.
